BEAM Educational Process (BEP)
BEAM always endeavors to provide quality education by following good educational development process. According to
us good education should be evaluated on the following grounds:
Useful and Usable: Good education makes people's lives easier or better.
Reliable: Good education has high success-ratio.
Flexible: Student's needs change over time, even while education is being given, so it is important to be
able to make changes to the educational process later. Moreover it must be possible to fix the failures.
Affordable: Good education should be affordable to lower and aspiring section of the society.
Available: Otherwise it doesn't matter how good it is!
Following a well-defined process for the educational development activities is a must to build a good citizen.
A successful educational process is a set of project phases, stages, methods, techniques and practices that people employ to
develop and achieve their dream goal.
A educational development process has four roles:
- Provide guidance
- Specify which course is suitable for student and when they should be developed as per competition and student need
- Direct the task of individual consultant, faculty and team as a whole
- Well defined parameters for monitoring and measuring the faculty & students performance and activities.
Without a well-defined course structure any educational success by team will be in an ad hoc manner, with success relying on the heroic efforts of a few dedicated individual contributors which we can see in many Institute. This is not a sustainable condition. Atleast this is not the case with BEAM.
Providing the best quality education and student delight has always
been BEAM's aim. And this is the reason why we developed and follow BEAM Educational Process (BEP) as
our educational development methodology. BEP not only covers the career development activities of a student during the course but also takes care of motivational & support aspect of it after the end of course.
