BEAM follows quality standards in line with ISO 9001:2000 methodologies. The Quality Assurance (QA) department at BEAM provides the framework and ensures that the entire educational development process follows an established standard. It is their responsibility to ensure that all deliveries conform to the quality requirements according to the examination specifications and student need.


Our academic team consists of consultant, experts and faculty team. All these team reports to the Head-Academics. In addition to that we have an independent Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, who is a neutral member and objectively reports the academic related issues to the institute senior management.


The QA and Academic team at BEAM performs the following activities independently

bullet  Test Planning
bullet  Course material preparation with latest trends
bullet  Preparing test papers based on competition and needs of student
bullet  On time test and evaluation
bullet  Performance Evaluation
bullet  Audit of the classroom teaching to check conformity with agreed institute processes

Process

Our Educational development process is guided by our inhouse developed product BEAM Educational Process (BEP).

Academics related metrics is collected from time to time to ensure that course is on the right track. The typical information that we measure about the course is Student satisfaction, Schedule variance, CAT trend analysis, student performance index and the cost of quality. Immediate action is taken if these parameters go beyond our prescribed tolerance zone. We also make a point to discuss these with our students & parents in a transparent manner and jointly take initiative to bring it under control.


Weekly Status Reports

After the end of every week, we send a Status Report to our students telling them about:

bullet  The syllabus originally planned for the last week
bullet  The syllabus actually covered in the last week
bullet  The syllabus planned for the coming week
bullet  Issues, if any
bullet  Changes to Stage Schedule, and reasons for the same
bullet  Overall Progress Status

Web Based Student Performance Tracking System (SPTS)

We have a web based Student Performance Tracking System to enable student track the performance status at any point of time. This System is updated on a weekly basis for our valued students to monitor the academic progress and provide valuable feedback. To access this System, student have to just log into our corporate website and Click on the Student Corner link. In the beginning of each course, we provide every student a valid login id and password to use this facility as a value added services from our side.
